How To Make Sure Your Family Is Prepared

When disaster strikes its important to have a plan of action for you and your family.

Is your family prepared? Put together a plan by discussing these four questions with your family, friends, or household to start your emergency plan. We have had some recent training and experience with making emergency plans and sheltering in place. Now, we need to figure out how much of what we have practiced can be used in response to other natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, or wildfires.  Here are a few things that SERVPRO of Gresham & SERVPRO of Oregon City/Sandy suggest you begin to think through and make a plan for. 

1. How will I receive emergency alerts?
2. What's my shelter plan?
3. What's my evacuation route?
